Christchurch Rock'n'Roll Club is for the support and promotion of 50's Rock'n'Roll dancing in a friendly, supportive environment. We currently have over 150 members of all ages. Our regular location for lessons and club nights is upstairs at Hornby Club on Monday evenings, with training facilities at the Hei Hei Community Hall, Wycola Avenue.
Our club is an incorporated society run by an elected committee. All of our committee members, tutors, helpers and coaches are volunteers who love Rock'n'Roll. Fun & Fitness for all ages.
Just some of the things we offer:
Dance Lessons from absolute beginners and Learn a Move sessions for going onwards from beginners. Learn from expert tutors in a fun and supportive environment.
Dances and Club Night - Informal nights to dance & socialise through to competitions and demos.
Junior Club - for our youngest members.
